A small cosy restaurant serving amazing testing menu. The food was exceptional, their wine selection even by glass ones was excellent.
Their food is mainly western but with a bit of an asian twist which we then realized the chef was from the Philippine so he added some of his culture into some dishes. Only comment was that the testing menu wasn’t enough to make us full.

First time in Brut! ever since the current head chef joined the team. It is a little different from before, where now I feel some dishes have some new elements. Was here for the valentine's special. Given the price point, I was expecting a little bit more in the service in terms of knowledge of the dish and enthusiasm perhaps. The most impressive dish was the cabbage to the beef. The sponge cake dessert was slightly disappointing. The scallop was really fresh and I would recommend it if it is on the regular menu. But I will come back again for a nibble and a drink.

The food is outstanding. Each dish showcases the skill and creativity of the talented chefs. While the staff goes above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable, whether you're with friends, family or dining alone.
If you're into stiff service, uninspiring dishes, and stale atmospheres (like so many of Hong Kong's restaurants) then this isn't the place for you. But if you want a rare experience that leaves an indelible imprint of culinary excellence and heartfelt hospitality on your soul, then Brut! is a must try.
One of our favorites but (sadly) the high-chair communal seating is starting to be very uncomfortable esp if you get seated next to a very loud group. Hanger Steak was undercooked this time, Clams were good, Grandmas Roll was confusing (not sure what taste it was trying to impart), Scallops were excellent, Mac n Cheese is consistently their best dish. Will visit again when they have a new menu.

Where is the 6-star option? First, the food is delicious. We loved every dish we ordered and the wine as well. Second, the staff create a warm, helpful atmosphere. The chef is creative, unpretentious and has a decided knack for ingenious combinations of ingredients that come off well. Will return. Heartily recommend you do as well.
Amazing hospitality. Interesting flavours combination, not my cup of tea. The flavours were a bit too strong and it got me feeling a bit sick after dinner. Starters were not that good and the mains were a bit disappointing. The steak was very tender and interesting flavour brought by the marination with coffee. The pork belly was blend and dry. Besides, the glass of red served was corked which was not acceptable. Overall won’t be visiting again.
Exceptional on all grounds. Food, service, ambience were spot on. Natural wine list was on fire. My peers were picky and knowledgeable wine drinkers, they were happy with the selection of both by glass and by the bottle. Chef Gavin’s take on incorporating Asian and local flavors to western execution was both refreshing and interesting. Menu changes from time to time depending on what’s in season. All in all, great dining experience. Will go back soon. Thanks Brut team :)
